Denis Omedi’s first half goal was enough to earn Kitara advantage over KCCA FC.

Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes Select team came from a goal down to beat Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa 2-1 at Lugogo.
Arnold Odong gave SC Villa the lead in the 25 minute but it short-lived when referee George Olemu awarded a questionable penalty to the Select team.
Olemu judged that Villa’s defender Edward Masembe had fouled Isaac Ogwang in the forbidden area.
Ogwang restored parity for the Sam Ssimbwa coached side before Godfrey Ssekibengo completed a comeback win in the 79th minute.
The two sides will next meet for the return leg on Wednesday at the same venue with the winner advancing to the semis while the losing team will battle in the classification game.
