The second round for the 2024 prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup tournament kicked off over the weekend with nine games.
Three time Buganda Masaza Cup winners Mawokota suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Busujju during their Masengere Group at Buwama Playgrounds on Sunday.
Paul Lukyamuzi scored the all important goal for Busujju who move to second place with 12 points in Masengere Group.

Kooki stunned Kyaggwe 1-0 courtesy of Shafik Ssonko goal while Buwekula cruised 2-0 past Gomba with Jimmy Kalema and Dirisa Masembe scoring the two goals.
Bulange group had all its games end in 1-1 stalemates.
Buluuli and Bugerere shared spoils in a 1-1 draw with Robert Ssewanyana scoring for hosts Buluuli while Charles Musisi struck for the visitors.
Bulemeezi and Buddu played out to a 1-1 draw at Kasana playground with Santos Martial Agok scoring for hosts while Joseph Kayondo netted for Buddu.
Kyaddondo were held by Butambala in a 1-1 draw, Ismail Keita Ndifuna netted for Meddie Nyanzi coached side while Tonny Ndase struck for Butambala.
