Left back Dissan Galiwango has completed his move to Tanzania Premier League side Dodoma Jiji on a two year contract.

Galiwango was a free agent after parting ways with Kagera Sugar, another Tanzania Premier League side, at the end of last season.

He was so close to joining his former side Vipers SC but his move fell through at the eleventh hour.

He has joined the Dodoma based club on the eve of the transfer deadline in Tanzania ahead of the new season’s kick off.

The former Express FC captain is expected to debut on Saturday (tomorrow) as Dodoma Jiji take on Mashujaa FC.

Dodoma Jiji will be aiming for a better finish this season having finished 12th in the league last season and survived relegation by a whisker.

Strikers Ivan Bogere and Steven Mukwala alongside Peter Lwasa, Gift Ali and Louis Anguti are other Ugandan who have joined Tanzanian clubs in the transfer window.

Mukwala joined Simba, Bogere signed for Tabora United while Gift Ali and Anguti joined CAF Confederation Cup representatives Coastal Union.

Peter Lwasa joined Kagera Sugar as a free agent from KCCA FC, as earlier revealed by this website.
