Soltilo Bright Stars have extended employment contracts of goalkeeper Derrick Were and midfielder Fiat Cleophus.
The duo has renewed their stay for another year.
Were began his football career at Bright Stars before he joined Kyetume FC.
He returned to Bright Stars at the start of the 2021/22 season. He is also a former Uganda Christian University (UCU) player where he won the 2019 Pepsi University Football League trophy.
Fiat joined Bright Stars in 2021 from Kigezi Homeboyz and has also extended his stay for another year.
Bright Stars were ninth last season with 36 points they garnered in 29 games.
They will begin their 2024/25 League campaign away to Steven Bengo’s Wakiso Giants on 15th September at Kabaka Kyabaggu.
