Mbale Heroes forward Kibirango joins Express FC

Herbert Kibirango has joined seven time league champions Express FC from Mbale Heroes on a two year contract.

Mbale Heroes have confirmed Kibirango’s departure after three successful seasons with the club.

Kibirango played an instrumental role as the Mbale based side gained promotion from the FUFA Big League last season.

He was among the players who were unveiled by Express FC at the club’s event at Nakivubo Stadium last Friday.

Kibirango played for the Red Eagles in their 0-0 draw against Kenya’s AFC Leopards on the same day.

He was replaced by Alpha Thierry Ssali at the start of the second half of the game.

As earlier reported, Express embarked on a massive recruitment that saw a number of new faces coming in to replace the departed.

Derrick Ngoobi, Emmanuel Wasswa, Rashid Kawawa, Charles Ssembalirwa, Geoffrey Gagganga and Daniel Shabena are some of the new signings of the club.

Youngsters Hafidhu Sonko, Elvis Ssekajugo, Hakim Wandera, Glory Kirusa were also signed from Prosper Soccer Academy.
