Express FC set to sign left back Mustafa Kizza

Express FC are in advanced talks with free agent left back Mustafa Kizza, Swift Sports reliably understands.

Kizza is currently unattached after leaving KCCA FC at the end of the previous season.

Negotiations between both parties got underway on Friday and Kizza could join Express FC if a compromise is reached which is highly expected.

Since leaving KCCA in July, Kizza has been linked to moves to North African clubs like JS Kabylie and Club Africain but conclusive was reached upon.

Kizza who is also one of the best left backs in the country, is expected to sign a one year contract with the Red Eagles if the advanced talks climax as expected.

The former KCCA, CF Montreal and Arouca left back will be expected to add quality to the Express FC squad as the league kick off inches closer.

Express who will be hosting their league games from Nakivubo Stadium, have signed a number of new players including Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, Saidi Kyeyune and Sam Ssenyonjo.

Daniel Shabena, Rashid Kawawa, Charles Ssembalirwa, Geoffrey Gagganga, Michael Kagiri, Derrick Ngoobi, Herbert Kibirango, Norman Ndyamuhaki are some of the other new signings.

As revealed by this website, Express have also signed former BUL FC and Kiyovu goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa on a one year contract.
