The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed for Ugandan match officials for the CAF Champions League final Preliminary contest between Burkina Faso’s AS Douanes and Algeria’s CR Belouizdad.
The game is scheduled for Saturday 14th September at Bamako Stade Mamadou Konate.
William Oloya has been appointed as the center referee with Hakim Mulindwa and Brianson Musisi as his first and second assistants.
The other Ugandan for the game is George Olemu who will serve as the fourth official.
Mahamadou Illou from Niger will be the match commissioner while Aminu Shantali Shuaibu from Nigeria will serve as as the Referee Assessor.
AS Douanes eliminated Benin’s Coton Bénin in the first Preliminary round on away goals after a 1-1 aggregate score to reach the second round of Qualification.
CR Belouizdad on the other hand powered past DR Congo’s AS Leopards 3-0 on aggregate to set up a meeting with AS Douanes.
