BUL FC were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Police FC during their opening league game at Kavumba Recreation grounds on Monday.
Police FC were reduced to ten after their striker Gerald Ogweti was sent off for a dangerous foul on defender Walter Ochora in the 35th minute.
Abbey Kikomeko coached side BUL FC with a numerical edge failed to breakdown an organized and resilient Police FC defence.
Rayn Kizito came close to scoring for the Cops in the first period but his effort was saved by BUL FC Joel Mutakubwa.
Denis Kalanzi nearly gave BUL FC the lead but his header went inches wide.
Lawrence Tezikya and Amos Kirya also had their attempts saved by Edward Kasibante.
By full-time whistle, the two sides settled for a goalless draw, a result that was massively celebrate by the Cops following their return to the topflight.
BUL FC will next host KCCA FC at Lugazi whereas Police FC will make a trip to Mbarara City FC.
