Ibrahim Kasinde has joined NEC FC on a one year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Kasinde has been out of action for a season having last featured for Soltilo Bright Stars in the 2022/23 season.
The pacy winger was a transfer target for NEC FC from the start of the transfer window, as earlier reported by this website.
He is expected to add urgency and creativity in NEC’s right hand side of attack that also accommodates Joseph Dhata.
Kasinde is a former Uganda Hippos player who was part of the U20 AFCON Qualifiers held in Sudan in 2022.
He previously played for Masaka City, Kaliisizo KEM, Kampala University Masaka as well as Masaza Cup giants Ssingo, Gomba and Busujju.
Kasinde spent three seasons at Soltilo Bright Stars and scored league seven goals with a number of assists in the process.
NEC FC beat Vipers 3-1 in their opener on Sunday and will visit Kitara FC in their next match on Thursday 19th in Hoima.
