Wakiso Giants new trio of Davis Kakande, Abdul Ssemakula and Samuel Nsubuga have been cleared for their league game against Maroons FC on Friday at Luzira Prison grounds.
Both sides are searching for their first win of the campaign following stalemates in their opening games.
Maroons FC drew 1-1 against UPDF FC while Wakiso Giants were held by Soltilo Bright Stars with a similar score.
Wakiso head coach Steven Bengo eyes maximum points and asserts that they have corrected the mistakes from the previous game.
“We made a few mistakes in the opening game, but we’ve worked to sharpen the team.”
“We have worked on that as we face a good side that beat us 1-0 in a friendly and from the lessons we got, we believe we can do better,” Revealed Bengo
Wakiso Giants FC will be without Baker Lukooya, who sustained an injury prior to the season’s start.
Maroons have only lost one to Wakiso Giants in the previous six league meetings, winning twice and three draws.
The previous three meetings at Luzira between the two sides have ended in stalemates.
