Kyaddondo 1-0 Busujju
The Buganda Masaza Cup quarterfinal first leg kicked off on Sunday with Buddu, Buwekula, Kyaggwe and Kyaddondo cruising to victories.
Two time competition winners Buddu prevailed to a 2-0 away win over Kabula, courtesy of Acram Juma Katende and Mike Walaga goals.
Katende gave Buddu the lead in the first half before Walaga secured the win in the second half.
Buwekula were the other away victors with a 1-0 win over Mawokota at Buwama playground.
Fahad Aniku first half goal was enough to hand Felix Ssekabuza coached side a first leg advantage.
Samuel Kisozi first half goal handed Kyaddondo a first leg win over Busujju.
Kyaggwe revenged against Ssingo with a 1-0 win, courtesy of David Mugalu first half goal.
Both sides faced off early in the group stage with Ssingo beating Kyaggwe home and away.
The return leg fixtures are scheduled for 29th September with the aggregate winner progressing to the semi-final stage.
