Kitara FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they host Police FC on Thursday at Royal Park Butema.
Brian Ssenyondo coached side have lost their previous games to NEC FC (2-1) and most recently to KCCA FC (2-0).
Against the Cops, they will be desperate for maximum points if they are to achieve their main target of winning the title this term.
“We come into this game after disappointing results in our previous games but we picked several lessons and we shall head into the next game trying to make improvements.”
Said Ssenyondo who believes that his side is still in the title race despite the two defeats
“I believe the title chase is not over after these two losses, we are still working towards our target this season. We are making steady progress and believe our objectives are still attainable.” Stated the tactician.
Police on the other hand are still winless on their return to the Uganda Premier league.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s side have drawn all their opening three games against BUL FC, Mbarara City FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.

Kitara are expected to hand returning Patrick Henry Kaddu is debut while Umar Lutalo is also expected to start after coming off the bench in the defeat to KCCA FC.
Solomon Okwalinga returns to the side while Jasper Aheebwa and Dudu Ramathan are still sidelined for the Royals.
Police will be without suspended Allan Bukenya while Gerald Ogweti is back after serving his ban.
Kizito Rayan will also miss the game for the Cops since he is with Uganda Hippos while Reagan Matege suffered a collision while featuring for Ssingo in Masaza and is also definitely out.
The Cops will however look up to Isaac Ogwang, Herman Wasswa, Brian Obedi and Denis Kalanzi for inspiration.

The two sides have only faced off twice in the league with Police winning both during the 2020/21 season beating the Royals 5-0 at home and 1-0 away.
