Buganda Region hosted the 100th FUFA General Assembly at Maya Nature Resort Wakiso District Zone III.
Andrew Kaweesa the chairman Buganda Region his Executive members for always standing with him and making sure they give the best as well as appreciating FUFA for giving Buganda Region a chance to host the historical AGM,
“We welcome you all to this General Assembly, FUFA granting Buganda an opportunity to host this remember the first FUFA President was the Kabaka of Buganda.”
“I appreciate the Executive members for always standing with me and for their continued support,we appreciate all stakeholders within the region.”Kaweesa.
FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo appreciated those that have supported FUFA in all aspects,
“We are proud that FUFA is now celebrating 100 years its a great milestone we should all be proud of, we are just beginning to celebrate.”
“We appreciate those who invest in the game, I salute all the former leaders at FUFA for the tremendous job you did.” Magogo added
In 2025 FUFA will hold elections so Bwire Mathias was retained as the Chairman FUFA Electrol Committe.
Ritah Aliguma, Denis Ojwe and Richard Mpaka Rwamurike have also been retained while Joram Katende was replaced by Salim Katumba.
Moses Odong, Oscar Ngoobi and Richard Baligye are the stand by substitutes.
Yusuf Awuye also retained as the FUFA Electrol Appeals Committee chairman which has Stanley Kinene and Favour Anguko members.
The stand by substitutes are Edward Nsamba and Micheal Okwi.
A budget of billion was passed in the General Assembly.
Solomon Mudega the Head of Development Programmes Africa represented the FIFA President.
