Vipers SC came from a goal down to beat SC Villa 2-1 on Saturday at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Yunus Sentamu and Rogers Torach scored in either half to fire the Venoms to their second win of the campaign.
Hakim Kiwanuka had given Villa the lead in the 36th minute after being fed by Elvis Ngonde.
The lead however short-lived as Edward Masembe gifted the hosts when his back pass was stolen by Milton Karisa who set up Sentamu for Vipers leveller.
In the 54th minute, Torach gave the home side the lead off a Karim Watambala corner kick.
Vipers held on to maximum points and move to seven points they have garnered in four games this term.
SC Villa remain on six points after losing their second defeat of the season.
After the international break, Vipers will visit Wakiso Giants while Villa will host Bright Stars at Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Meanwhile, the league will resume on Sunday with Maroons FC taking on Lugazi FC at Luzira Prison grounds.
