•Uganda Vs South Sudan – Namboole at 7PM
Uganda Cranes will be aiming to keep their grid at the top of Group K of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers when they host neighbors South Sudan under the floodlights of Mandela National Stadium in Namboole on Friday.
Uganda currently leads the group with four points in the two games they have played against South Africa (2-2) and Congo Brazzaville (2-0).
Paul Put’s men won their most recent game 2-0 against Congo Brazzaville thanks to Aziz Kayondo and Jude Semugabi goals.
South Sudan are in search for their first points this term having suffered 1-0 and 3-2 defeats to Congo and South Africa in September.

Uganda will be without striker Muhammad Shaban as he was not named in Put’s 27-man squad for South Sudan double header due to injury.
KCCA FC striker Derrick Nsibambi who makes a return to the national team fold is among the options to start upfront.
Meanwhile, South Sudan will miss the services of NEC FC right back Joseph Dhata through injury but are expected to hand SC Villa striker Francis Onekalit his debut.
Ugandan based players Geriga Atendele, Gaddafi Wahab, Rashid Toha, Rashid Okocha and Tito Okello are all expected to feature for the visitors.
