Mustafa Kizza bids farewell to Express FC ahead of move to Egypt

Left back Mustafa Kizza has confirmed his departure at seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC.

Kizza joined the Red Eagles at the start of the 2024/25 season after ending his marriage with KCCA FC at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Kizza is currently in Egypt ahead of a move to Egyptian second division side Telecom Egypt SC.

“As I prepare to embark on a new journey, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible time I have spent with all of you,” he stated through his social media platforms.

“The memories we’ve created together will forever hold a special place in my heart. Your unwavering support and passion have inspired me every day, and I am thankful for the bonds we’ve formed,” he added.

“Though I am moving on, I will carry the spirit of our team with me wherever I go. Thank you for believing in me and for being a part of this unforgettable chapter
in my life.”

“I wish you all the best in the future, and I hope our paths cross again. To the Express fans, thank you for the hospitality and support accorded to me, indeed you’re the best fans in the lad,” he concluded.

Besides KCCA FC and Express FC, the roving left back has also previously featured for CF Montreal and Arouca.
