The management of SC Villa has decided to use Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku as their home ground for a second consecutive season.

The 16 time Uganda Premier league champions used the same venue last season.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Villa have already paid for the venue ahead of the 2023/24 season in a bid to return to glory.

The move will see Villa share the same venue as their arch rivals Express FC for a second consecutive season. Sources however reveal that the Red Eagles are however yet to pay for the venue.

SC Villa have already appointed Serbian tactician Dusan Stojanovic as their head coach replacing Jackson Magera.

He will be assisted by former KCCA FC head coach and their former player Morley Byekwaso.

Last season, Villa surrendered the league title to Vipers on the final after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to URA FC.
