Ugandan right back has joined Tanzania Premier League side Singida Big Stars FC from Ihefu FC, Swift Sports reliably confirms.

Wadada put pen to paper on a two year contract with the Singida based club.

The experienced roving right back has been an instrumental figure at Ihefu and played an integral role as the club finished 6th on the league table despite being newly promoted entrants.

He joined Ihefu FC last September on a one contract after his illustrious four year spell at Azam FC.

At Singida Big Stars, Wadada will be joining left back Shafik Batambuze as the other Ugandan player at the club.

Ugandan coach Matia Lule currently serves as club’s Assistant Coach and Steven Billy Kiggundu is the goalkeepers coach.

Singida Big Stars, formerly known as DTB FC, is also home to Meddie Kagere who crossed over from Simba SC at the start of the season.

The club has embarked on a recruitment process as they prepare to represent Tanzania in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

Wadada brings experience, pace and solid defending on the right hand side.

It should be remembered that Wadada was previously nominated for the Best Player of the season award (MVP) in the Tanzania Premier League in 2020 despite being a right-back only to lose to Simba’s Clatous Chama.

He won the best defender of the season award that year on account of his outstanding exploits with Azam FC.
