Uganda Premier league champions Vipers are set to complete the signing of Gaddafi FC winger Godfrey Lwesibawa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Lwesibawa has agreed personal terms with the Kitende based side and will sign a two year employment contract.
The move will see him reunite with his former teammate at SC Villa and Express Martin Kizza.
Lwesibawa helped Express win the league title during the 2020/21 league title and CECAFA Kagame Cup in the same campaign.
The right winger left the Red Eagles after the departure of Wasswa Bbosa last season before the pair reunited seven months ago.
He has previously featured for Express FC, SC Villa and Tooro United.
Vipers have already signed forward Karim Ndugwa and Martin Kizza in the current transfer window.
The Venoms finished the first round of the season third on the Uganda Premier league table with 27 points and two below leaders KCCA FC.
