Wakiso Giants are in advanced stages of completing the signing of winger Andrew Samson Kigozi who is currently a free agent.

Kigozi is unattached to any club after leaving Maroons FC following the expiration of his employment contract.

Kigozi is set to reunite with coach John Ayala Luyinda who is the current Wakiso Giants head coach.

Luyinda previously coached Kigozi during his days at Police FC when he was an assistant to Abdallah Mubiru.

Kigozi made his topflight league debut with Police FC in 2019 and signed for KCCA in 2020 following an impressive performance with the Cops.

He however found it hard to make his presence felt at Lugogo and parted ways with KCCA after two seasons to join Maroons FC.

Prior to his move to KCCA, Kigozi was a transfer target of Wakiso Giants and after three seasons, the Purple Sharks have reignited their interest in the crafty winger.

Kigozi has in the past featured for Kiboga Young and Kakiri Town Council in the Regional League as well as Gomba and Busiro in the Masaza Cup.
