Uganda Cranes has been named among the 10 nominees for the National Team of the Year Award in the 2024 CAF Awards.
The 2024 CAF Awards will be held on December 16th this year in Marrakech, Morocco.
Uganda will battle with Angola, Burkina Faso, DR Congo, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan and AFCON champions Ivory Coast.
The Cranes have enjoyed an impressive run under Belgian coach Paul Put who took charge of the team in November last year.
The Cranes are top of the Group K table of the AFCON Qualifiers with 10 points and are one point away from qualifying for the AFCON.
Uganda Cranes previously won the National Team of the Year Award in the CAF Awards of 2016.
