The 2025 UMEA Solidarity Games will be hosted by Namagabi Secondary School in Kayunga district.

The school officially underwent the first inspection by the Secretariat of the UMEA Solidarity Games headed by the chairman Hajji Twahir Kitezala and the General Secretary Hajji Hussein Lwembawo Kyagulanyi.

The second inspection will be held next year to examine the school’s readiness to host the games.

The games are organized by the Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) and only involve Muslim founded secondary schools.

Masaka Secondary School hosted the 2024 edition in March this year that saw Kibuli Secondary School emerge as the overall champions.

The 2024 edition attracted over 1500 participants who took part in football, netball, volleyball, handball, badminton and table tennis.

The UMEA games were established in 1998 but rebranded to UMEA Solidarity Games in 2013 and this will be the 10th edition since the rebranding.
