•SC Villa Vs UPDF FC at Muteesa II Stadium

SC Villa’s Morley Byekwaso will hoping that his side return to winning ways when they host UPDF FC on Friday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Byekwaso is under unbearable pressure at SC Villa after failing to secure victories in their previous three games.

His side currently sits in seven position with eight points.

The Jogoos have surrendered leads in their last three games, 2-1 defeat at Vipers, 2-2 draw against Soltilo Bright Stars and the 1-1 stalemate at Maroons FC.

The champions are currently closer to the relegation zone than at the top of the table.

Byekwaso’s men are nine points adrift of leaders KCCA FC and will need nothing less than a win if they are to keep their chances of defending the title.

UPDF FC on the other under the stewardship of Paul Kiwanuka will be seeking to end their six match winless run against SC Villa.

They last secured victory against the record Uganda Premier league champions during the 2020/21 season.

Kiwanuka’s men are currently 5th on the table standings with nine points in the six matches they have played so far.
