UPDF FC ended their three match winless streak with a 2-1 victory against Mbarara City at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.
Frank Mugisha put UPDF FC in the lead through a well taken free kick in the 19th minute.
Captain Bernard Muwanga extend the lead for the Army side in the 45th minute from the spot.
Henry Kitegenyi head home the consolation for the visitors in the 64th minute.
A win is the third for UPDF that have played four games home so far this season, their fourth game was a goalless draw with URA.
UPDF FC move to the fourth position after victory with 12 points.
Mbarara City remain in the tenth position with nine points.
The Army side will play Kitara FC next on Saturday 16th November in Hoima.
Mbarara City FC will host debutants Mbale Heroes next on Friday 22nd November at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
In the other game of the day Wakiso Giants and Lugazi FC played to a barren draw.
