FUFA Big League side Busoga United have officially appointed Charles Ayiekoh as their new head coach.
Ayiekoh’s appointment comes after he was relieved of his coaching duties at Women Super League side Kampala Queens at the start of this month.
” Busoga United is delighted to announce the appointment of Coach Charles Lukula Ayiekoh as our new Head Coach,” Reads part of the club’s official communication.
Ayiekoh comes in to fill the void that has been previously occupied by Eric Ndifuna.
Ayiekoh is expected to guide the Jinja based club back to rails and keep the promotion dream alive despite the club’s poor start to the season.
He has previously coached Busoga United between 2017-2019 while in the topflight league.
Ayiekoh has also previously coached Simba Queens in Tanzania and the Crested Cranes as well as a number of clubs in the Uganda Premier League.
Busoga United currently sit third bottom (13th) with four points from seven games having lost thrice and drew the other four.
Busoga United will host Buhimba Saints United in their next game in pursuit of their first win of the season on Sunday 24th November.
