Mbale Heroes eye maiden win under Mbowa as Lugazi visits

Lugazi FC targets a second second victory when they visit relegation candidate Mbale Heroes at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

In the previous game Lugazi FC defeated Express FC 1-0 courtesy of Yusuf Ssaka completing a seasonal double against the Red Eagles.

Mbale Heroes seems to have nothing left to fight for they lost 5-0 to KCCA in last game at Lugogo.

Mbale Heroes are winless in four league matches that Baker Mbowa has been in charge and is still searching for his first win at the Mbale based club.

When the two sides met at Lugazi FC Stadium they played to a one all draw.

Gideon Ejo scored for Mbale Heroes while Derrick Mwanje was on target for Lugazi FC.

The visitors will be without winger Alvin Birungi and defender Akiram Mukisa due to respective injuries.

Goalkeeper William Oluka Norman Lumumba Eluzai and Basham Mugwa are also out due to personal reasons.

Mbale Heroes go in this game bottom placed with only ten points from 19 games and victory can only see them from a positive above but remain in the drop zone.

Lugazi FC has 23 points and occupy the 11th position incase of victory they can temporarily occupy the eighth position
