The Uganda Premier league makes a return after the November international break.
Police FC will welcome fellow newcomers Lugazi FC at Kavumba Recreation ground on Wednesday.
Simon Peter Mugerwa coached side will be without the trio of Daniel Otto (injured) while Brian James Obedi and Adewale Bojo are down with malaria.
The Cops however have Reagan Male back and is expected to feature in the game.
Lugazi are unbeaten since they parted ways with Sadiq Sempigi. During that time, they have managed two wins against Express FC and NEC FC as well as a draw with Wakiso Giants.
Police FC have suffered one defeat this term coming away to Vipers SC. They have however managed just one win at home.
The draws came against BUL FC, Soltilo Bright Stars and Express with their only win at home coming against Mbale Heroes.
Last season, Police FC finished above Lugazi FC in the FUFA Big League with both sides assuming topflight status.
During their meetings in the second tier, the two sides played out to a 1-1 stalemate at Kavumba before a goalless draw in Lugazi.
