Kitara FC forward Denis Omedi was of no show once again during his side’s 6-0 thrashing of Mbale Heroes FC on Friday in Hoima.
Omedi also missed Kitara’s goalless stalemate with six time league champions Vipers SC at Kitende.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Omedi is currently in Spain at a club yet to be established.
Sources also reveal that Omedi will also head to Asia next week to have talks with another club before coming back to Uganda on 13th December.
Jude Semugabi who also missed the trip to Kitende last week featured in the victory over Mbale Heroes coming on as a substitute in place of George Ssenkaaba in the second period.
Omedi was Kitara’s top scorer last season with 14 goals in the league and helped them to the Uganda Cup triumph.
His goal against KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 was nominated for both the FIFA Puskas and CAF goal of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Kitara FC will continue with their resurgence agains Maroons FC next week.
