KCCA FC duo of Sadat Happy Anaku and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza set to miss the forthcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) due to be Co-hosted in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania next month.
While addressing the media on Friday Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Joseph Put confirmed that the two are injured and are likely to miss the CHAN tournament.

They join Vipers SC skipper Milton Karisa who will be out of action for two months due to injury while Denis Omedi and Hakim Kiwanuka will be ineligible to feature in the tournament following their moves from Kitara FC and SC Villa respectively.
Following their absence, the Belgian added Usama Arafat and Ivan Ahimbisibwe to the Provisional Uganda Cranes CHAN tournament that kicked off with non residential training camp on Thursday. The squad will be trimmed to 26 players on Monday.
The CHAN tournament that features players from domestic leagues will kickoff on 1st February with the final scheduled for 28th of the same month. On January, 15th the draw for the event will be held in Kenya.
