Crested Cranes forward Violah Nambi Ssebunya has officially parted ways with Italian Serie A side Napoli after just six months.
Nambi joined Napoli at the start of the season in August but found playing time hard to come her way.
Nambi leaves the Naples club prematurely after a mutual agreement on a contract termination.
During her spell at the club, Nambi featured in only three league games; against AC Milan, Lazio and defending champions AS Roma.
She is expected to sign for a new club before the transfer window officially closes in pursuit of sufficient playing time.
Nambi has previously played for Swedish clubs Vaxjo DFF and IFK Kalmar as well as Austria’s Dornbirn Ladies and CF Pomgliano in Italy.
As a player, Nambi is a quick and versatile forward who primarily operates as a right winger but can ably play as a striker.
She was part of the Crested Cranes squad that represented Uganda at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
