Kitara Regional League side Rwenzori Lions host FUFA Big League entity Busoga United today Friday 24th January at the round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Airline grounds Bwera.
Rwenzori Lions FC head coach Nsamba Andrew is hopeful is side will make it to the next round,
“We are more than ready for this encounter good enough we are home all the players are in good shape and ready to give the best the technical team has played its part so all I can say is we are good to go.”
In the previous edition Rwenzori Lions lost 8-7 to Express in spot kicks at Wankulukuku after both sides played to a one all draw at the round of 32.
In another game to be played today KCCA FC visits 403 Brigade at St Daniel Comboni SS grounds.
Arua Hill SC will face off with Total at Swingo Stadium Vumbe and Ntugasaze FC plays Mabira FC at Nyakasura play ground.
The fifth game will be between Bugiongo Leopards and Booma FC at Bugiongo Park.
All games will start at 3:00pm and the aggregate winners will progress to the next round.
NEC FC, Packwach Youngstars FC, Vipers SC, Express FC, BUL FC, Kitara FC, Gaddafi FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Wakiso Giants, URA FC, Lugazi FC, UPDF FC, Maroons FC, CATDA FC, Mbarara CIty FC, Police FC, Simba FC, Kataka FC and SC Villa have already progressed ti the round of 32.
