Striker Karim Ndugwa completes return to UPL

Striker Karim Ndugwa has completed his move to BUL FC, Swift Sports understands.

Ndugwa returns to the Uganda Premier League after his expedition in Ethiopia with Hambericho Durame FC.

Ndugwa previously featured for BUL FC in 2022 and played an instrumental role as the club won the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the expense of Vipers.

He subsequently moved to Vipers a year later but his spell short-lived and thereafter opted to join Hambericho Durame FC.

The lanky striker is highly regarded as a potential solution to the club’s goal scoring deficiency heading into the decisive half of the season.

BUL FC have struggled for goals despite having a host of striking options in Isaac Wagoina, Yafesi Mubiru, Dickson Matama, Anwar Ntege and Lawrence Tezikya.

The club has only managed to score 13 goals with the aforementioned strikers contributing to a meager five goals in the process.

BUL FC started the season with an enormous task of challenging for the league title but have found themselves 14 points away from the table top.

The Abbey Bogere Kikomeko coached side currently sit distant 9th with 20 points garnered from the 15 games played so far.

Ndugwa comes with vast experience having previously featured for a number of clubs like SC Villa, Wakiso Giants, URA FC, Express FC, Lweza FC, Victors, AFC Leopards (Kenya), Horseed in Somalia, Vipers SC and Mbarara City among others.
