Vipers SC have confirmed that Fazil Tumwine ‘Chopra’ has joined Wakiso Giants on loan until the end of the season.
Tumwine who has had playing time hard to come his way this season, is a huge boast for the Wakiso Giants side heading into the second half of the season.
Chopra was promoted to the Vipers senior team early last year on account of his impressive exploits with the St. Mary’s Kitende school team.
However his last appearance with the Venoms came during the Super 8 clash with NEC FC at the start of the season.
Lugazi FC are the other Uganda Premier League side that were reportedly interested in acquiring Chopra on loan from Kitende.
Wakiso Giants are 14th on the table with 12 points from 15 games played and have only managed to score nine goals in the process.
The Purple Sharks will host SC Villa on Tuesday 11th February as the second round of the league kicks off.
