UPDF FC and Kitara FC shared spoils in a goalless at Bombo Barracks Military Ground on Thursday.
Bashir Kabuye came close to firing the hosts into the lead but was denied by Kitara goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima.
Kitara did not create enough scoring chances in the first period and their custodian Richard Anyama was relatively busy.
This was the first ever stalemate between the two sides.
Kitara are now on 22 points while UPDF FC are 11 with 18 points this term.
UPDF FC will next travel to Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium while Kitara FC will welcome relegation threatened Bright Stars at the Royal Park Butema.
