Uganda Cranes will return to action in March with two Group G FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier matches.

The Cranes will first travel to Mozambique with the game slated for between 17th-18 March, 2025.

Paul Joseph Put’s men will then host Guinea on Tuesday, 25th March under the floodlights of Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. Guinea beat Uganda 2-1 in their first round meeting.

Uganda fell to Algeria 2-1 in their previous World Cup Qualifier match that was played at Namboole in June last year.

Algeria are currently top of group G with nine points followed by Mozambique also with the same number of points.

Bostwana, Guinea and Uganda are all on six points while Somalia without a single point is bottom placed.

The group winner will directly qualify for the World Cup, and the runner-up could potentially compete in the second round to advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.
