Ukrainian side FC Rukh Lviv has completed the signing of Ugandan left Ibrahim Juma on a free transfer.
Juma recently left KCCA FC after a mutual contract termination during the mid-season transfer window.
The 20 year old left back is a graduate of the KCCA FC Junior Team (Soccer Academy) who earned his promotion to the senior team in 2021.
Juma represented Uganda at the AFCON U17 tournament in 2018 and also captained the Cubs to a CECAFA U17 victory in Kigali, Rwanda in 2020.
He is also capped three times with the senior national team the Uganda Cranes, having featured in friendlies against Tanzania, Zambia and Libya.
The Uganda Hippos left-back spent the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons on loan at CD Leganes B in Spain.
He is expected to spend the better part of the season playing for Rukh Lviv 2 in the Ukrainian third tier.
Juma will become the first Ugandan player to play for a Ukrainian club since Miya Farouk whose stint at FC Lviv was cut short by the civil war between Russia and Ukraine in 2022.
