Light High School Sseguku were the winners in both boys and girls football as the Kitende Zone finals were played at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
In boys football it was pay back at as Light High School Sseguku defeated Hassan Zzungu’s St Mary’s Kitende 5-4 in spot kicks after a one all full-time draw.
Kizza Ikoona was the goal scorer for Light High School Sseguku while Leonard Kasaanya was the goal scorer for St Mary’s Kitende.
Last year Light High School Sseguku lost 1-0 to St.Marys Kitende at the same venue.
In girls football Light High School Sseguku also defeated Kings Way High School 2-0 thanks to Viola Namugabi.
Light High School Sseguku, St Mary’s Kitende, King’s Way and Kajjansi Progressive will be the four representatives of Kitende Zone at this year’s Wakiso Regional Championship. Kajjansi Progressive finished third after defeating Kings Way 2-0.
