Kitara FC got their revenge over KCCA FC with a dominant 4-0 win at Butema Royal Park in Hoima.
The Royals lost their first round meeting 2-0 to KCCA FC earlier in the season.
Wasswa Bbosa’s side had their revenge and did their job ruthlessly, dismantling Kitara in a high-tempo game conducted expertly by Titus Ssematimba that was too much for the visitors.
For Abdallah Mubiru and KCCA FC, the humiliation was total. Kitara pressed brilliantly and they were ruthless in the final third, shredding Mubiru’s gameplan.
An expectant Butema did not have long to wait for the breakthrough, former KCCA FC striker Patrick Henry Kaddu scoring the first goal of the contest in the 22nd minute.
Jude Ssemugabi doubled Kitara’s advantage after being fed by Kaddu in the 36th minute of the game.
Five minutes after the recess, David Ndihabwe struck the third with Kaddu again providing the assist.
Kaddu registered his third assist when Kabon Living scored the fourth goal for the hosts in the move orchestrated by Ssematimba.
Kitara who next face NEC FC on 10th April at Lugogo are now fifth on the table leapfrogging KCCA on 35 points. KCCA next host BUL FC.
