What are the Requirements for FUFA Presidency ahead of 2025 Polls

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) through its Electoral Committee has revealed the requirements for the position of FUFA President and Executive for the 2025-2029 term.

After the completion of elections at the Regional Football Associations, Big League, National Women Leagues and Special Interest Groups levels, FUFA has officially opened the nomination process for position of President and Executive.

According to the FUFA Electoral Committee chaired by Mathias Bwire, the interested candidates for FUFA Presidency must submit their nominations by 24th May 2025 at 23:59 hours accompanied by the required documents.

Those interested will be required to have the following requirements;

•Nomination letters from a 1st Division Club, Special Interest Group and Regional Football Association
•Certified Copy of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education or Equivalent •FAMACO II Certificate
•Proof of Nomination fee payment of UGX 10,000,000

•List of Proposed Executive Committee Members.

Incumbent Moses Magogo has been the FUFA President for three terms since taking over from Lawrence Mulindwa in 2013. By the end of the current term, he will be the longest-serving FUFA President.

The FUFA Elective Assembly, where the President and Executive will be elected, is scheduled for 5th July 2025, in Hoima City.
