Bulemeezi identify Luweero United’s Mugerwa as their head coach

Three time Buganda Masaza Cup winners Bulemeezi are set to appoint Luweero United’s Calvin Paul Mugerwa as their new head coach.

This website has established that Bulemeezi have identified Mugerwa as their coach for the forthcoming prestigious competition.

Last year, Bulemeezi had their journey end at the group stage and will be eyeing glory in this year’s campaign.

Bulemeezi has previously won the Buganda Masaza Cup trophy three times in 2012, 2019 and most recently in 2023.

In case the deal materializes, Bulemeezi will join Buddu, Ssingo, Butambala, Kyaggwe, Gomba, Buvuma, Buweekula who appointed Eric Kisuze, Hamza Lutalo, Richard Malinga, Simon Peter Mugerwa, Simon Ddungu, Owen Kato, Felix Ssekabuza as their coaches  respectively.

Buddu are their reigning Masaza Cup champions following their triumph over Kyaggwe last term.

Under the stewardship of Simon Ddungu alias Dunga, Buddu overcame Kyaggwe 1-0 in the final that was held at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
