Vipers SC captain Milton Karisa has revealed how his former agent swindled him during his time at Moroccan side Mouloudia d’Oujda and asserts that he faced many challenges in North Africa.

While on NTV Uganda Sports Knight on Monday evening Karisa stated that his former agent cared more about money than his career.

“When I left Vipers for Morocco, I was excited as it was my first time going professional outside Uganda. But things didn’t turn out as I expected, and I faced many challenges. The agent I had back then cared more about money than my career, and that’s where everything started to go wrong.”

Karisa left Vipers to join the North African club in September 2018 after a stellar 2017/18 season in which he scored 15 goals in 48 appearances for the Venoms at that time.

However, he struggled to find his feet at Mouloudia d’Oujda making just 22 appearances and 4 goals, before returning to Kitende in February, 2020.

In the just concluded league campaign, Karisa was vital in Vipers’ seventh title triumph. He will be seeking to lead the side to their second Cup double in three seasons when they face off with KCCA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final on Saturday, 31st May 2025 at FUFA Kadiba Stadium.
