Mawokota County Chief Sarah Nannono Kaweesi has appointed the management committee that will oversee the three time Buganda Masaza Cup champions in this year’s tournament.
Robert Ssemwogerere will chair the committee with Vipers SC President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa serving as the Patron of the 2005, 2007 and 2013 champions.
Harunah Kyobe one of the directors at Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC working as the Mawokota Ssaza team manager.
Twaha Lubega is the Vice chairman administration while Obadiah Ssebunya will work as the Vice Technical.
Joanita Nangozi Mukooza is the treasurer whereas Christopher Lobbo is the Secretary.
Mawokota recently appointed last year’s losing finalist at Kyaggwe David Katono Mutono as their head coach.
Mawokota have gone 12 years without winning the Prestigious Buganda football competition since Farouk Miya’s late strike over Ssingo in 2013 at the last final to be held at Nakivubo Stadium.
