Titus Ssematimba completes move to another UPL side

NEC FC have completed the signing of midfielder Titus Ssematimba on a two year contract, Swift Sports has learnt.

Ssematimba was made NEC FC priority signing in a bid to strengthen their squad as well as adding creativity in the offensive department.

The former Wakiso Giants offensive midfielder was also a transfer target for KCCA FC but the Lugogo side didn’t set up their interest.

Ssematimba leaves Kitara FC as a free agent having joined the club from Wakiso Giants at the start of the previous season on a one year contract which expires this month.

He also had a brief loan spell at Al Dahra in the United Arab Emirates third tier at the start of last year.

Ssematimba rose to the scene with Black Star Masanafu FC and St. Lawrence University in the Kampala Regional League and University football league respectively.

The crafty midfielder has played for Uganda Hippos (U20), the CHAN Team but also has two caps with the senior team The Cranes.
