Turkish Women’s Super League side Trabzonspor Kadin have parted ways with Crested Cranes defensive midfielder Joan Nabirye.
Nabirye together with 11 other players have left the club, Trabzonspor Kadin confirmed through their official social media channels.
Nabirye joined Trabzonspor in January this year after leaving Russian side Spartak Moscow in pursuit of sufficient playing time.
The combative midfielder played 11 games and scored one goal for Trabzonspor as the club finished 5th on the Turkish Women’s Super League table.
Her only goal for the club came in the first half of the comprehensive 18-0 win over Cekmekoy Bilgidoga on 27th May.
Nabirye is a well traveled player who has previously played for Vihiga Queens in Kenya, FC Minsk in Belarus and Spartak Moscow.
Locally, Nabirye played for the now defunct Muteesa 1 Royal University, Asubo Gafford Ladies and Kampala Queens.
