Kuwait Premier League side Al Arabi SC are set to complete the signing of Uganda Cranes utility player Kenneth Ssemakula.

The imminent move follows an agreement between Club Africain and the Kuwaiti giants.

Ssemakula has one year left on his contract with Club Africain having joined the Tunisian club in July 2024 on a two year deal.

The versatile defensive midfielder played a total of 20 games (19 in the league) and contributed one assist in the process.

Ssemakula can ably play as a defensive midfielder but also as a right back and central defender.

Al Arabi SC are 17 time winners of the Kuwait Premier League, three behind the record champions Kuwait SC.

Al Arabi SC finished as runners up in the league last season with 50 points, five behind the eventual champions Kuwait SC.

Al Arabi SC will play against Maziya S&RC of Maldives in the AFC Challenge League which is the third tier of the Asian Continental Club Football.
