Uganda Premier league giants KCCA FC are interested in signing Kitara FC winger Rogers Mugisha, Swift Sports understands.

Mugisha spent one season at Kitara FC having joined them last year after his departure at Danish second tier side AC Horsens.

The move saw him reunite with Brian Ssenyondo who was his coach at UPDF FC.

In case the deal materializes, Mugisha and Ssenyondo will reunite once again at KCCA FC.

Mugisha has grown through the ranks from the national U17 and U20 national teams and was named among the best performers at the AFCON U20 tournament held in Egypt in 2023.

KCCA FC have already completed the signing of Lazaro Bwambale and Ivan Ahimbisibwe both reuniting with Ssenyondo.

The Kasasiro boys are boosting their squad in the bid to return to glory days. Last season, they finished fifth on the Uganda Premier league table and as well as finishing as runners up to Vipers SC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
