Uganda Cranes captain Khalid Aucho will leave Tanzania Giants Young Africans this transfer window.

The Cranes skipper was in talks with the club to extend his deal, but the two sides could not agree to terms.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Young Africans were offering Aucho a one year employment contract extension but the midfielder wanted two years to renew his stay.

This website has established that moving on from the Tanzanian outfit was the right move for Aucho, especially because talks broke down over the lengthy of extension and the midfielder has offers from Vietnam.

Aucho joined Yanga from Misr El Makassa of Egypt on a two year contract before signing a one year extension last year.

The experienced defensive midfielder has won four league titles, three FA Cups and three Community Shields with Yanga.

He also played an integral part as the club reached the final of the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup where they lost to USM Alger.
