Algeria National Team head coach Madjid Bougherra has named a provisional squad of 28 players for the delayed African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The named squad is currently in camp ahead of the tournament due in East Africa next month.
2022 CHAN top scorer Aymen Mahious is part of Algeria’s named squad.
Algeria is in Group alongside with co-hosts Uganda, South Africa, Guinea, and Niger.
They will kickoff their campaign against Uganda on August 4th at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Algeria finished as runners up during the 2022 edition that was won by Senegal.
CHAN 2024 will be Co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 2nd to 30th August.
