Vipers SC have rewarded right back Grant Mastiko a new two year employment contract, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Mastiko was out of contract at Kitende following expiration of his previous two year deal.
He joined the Venoms at the start of the 2023/24 season from Wakiso Giants FC.
Before joining the Purple Sharks, Mastiko previously featured for Kigezi Homeboyz.
At Vipers SC, he will compete for a starting place with Nicholas Wakiro Wadada who was impressive for the league champions last season.
He joins Abdul-Karim Watambala, Patrick Paul Mbowa and Alfred Mudekereza who also renewed their stays at the seven time UPL champions.
Vipers have already began preparations for next season and have already befeed up their squad with new recruits Congolese Kevin Bady Dasylva, Nigerian winger Odili Chukwuma, Liberian striker Mark Yallah and Enock Ssebaggala.
