Kenya Women’s League champions Kenya Police Bullets have completed the signing of Ugandan forward Margret Kunihira.

The Crested Cranes winger has signed a one year contract following her departure from Tanzania’s Ceasiaa Queens.

Kunihira is expected to inspire the Police Bullets in the upcoming season but most importantly in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

She becomes the third Ugandan player to join the Kenyan Champions after Zainah Namuleme and Desire Katisi Natooro.

Namuleme was acquired from Makerere University while Natooro was signed from Asubo Ladies FC.

Kunihira previously played for King of Kings, Kawempe Muslim, Asubo Ladies and Kampala Queens before joining Ceasiaa Queens in 2023.

She has played for the National U17, U20 and senior teams since her rise to the scene in 2018.
